When choosing baby food for your dog treats, be sure to double check that they aren’t some fruits toxic to dogs.

Can I Mix Baby Food with Dog Food?
Definitely! You can easily mix baby food with your dog’s kibble or homemade dog food.
Don’t want to make treats? Add a little flavor to your dog’s food by adding a small packet of baby food as a topper.
You can even hide a small pill in a bit of baby food.
While this recipe calls for whole wheat flour, you can substitute regular flour, if needed. Whole wheat flour is healthier than white flour. But it will work in a pinch.
We typically use whole wheat flour in our recipes because it has a little more nutritional value for our dogs.
How to Make Peanut Butter & Banana Dog Treats
Ingredients:
- Gerber apple blueberry baby food
- Natural Dog Safe Peanut Butter
- Whole Wheat Flour
- Quick oats
- 1 mashed banana
Supplies Needed
- Bowls
- Blender or Nutribullet
- Rolling Pin
- Fun Dog Cookie Cutters
- Baking Sheets
- Cooling Racks
Directions
Put quick oats into a blender or food processor to make into a flour consistency.
Combine all ingredients into a bowl and mix.
Roll out the dough on a flat, floured surface. Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes.
Place shapes onto cookie sheets. Back at 300 degrees for 17.
Cool on cooling racks.

Ingredients
- 4 oz Gerber apple blueberry baby food
- ⅓ cup natural peanut butter
- 1 cup wheat flour
- ½ cup quick oats
- 1 mashed banana
Instructions
- Put quick oats into blender or food processor to make into a flour consistency.
- Combine all ingredients into a bowl and mix.
- Roll our out the dough on a flat floured surface.
- Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes.
- Place shapes onto cookie sheets.
- Bake at 300 degrees for 17 - 20 minutes.
- Cool on cooling racks.
- Store in airtight container.
Notes
Roll dough out on parchment paper for easier clean up.
Use Dog Safe Natural Peanut butter, do not use sugar free peanut butter.
