What Kind of Flour Can I Use for Dog Treats?
There’s a large variety of flours that you can use for dog treats. Some of my favorites are oat flour, chickpea flour, coconut flour, and even brown rice flour.
You can even try mixing and matching flours like oat flour and coconut flour.
A word of caution on coconut flour. This flour soaks up the liquids, so you’ll want to add more liquid to your mixture or mix it with another type of flour.
The biggest plus with homemade dog treat recipes is that they don’t make too many cookies.
By using smaller cookie cutters, you can get more cookies.
Make your cookies to fit your dog - small dogs need smaller cookies, just as large dogs need larger cookies.
