How to Make St. Patricks Day Dog Treats
Ingredients:
- Bananas
- Golden Delicious Apple
- Spinach
- Parsley
- Water
Optional Add-ins for the Human Smoothie:
- Plain Greek Yogurt
- Ice Cubes
Items Needed to Make the Dog Treats
- Food Processor or Blender
- Molds
- Cutting board and knife
- Liquid measuring cup or squeeze bottle
- Cookie Sheet
- Cute Smoothie Cup with lid - if making yourself a smoothie.
Directions to make the St. Patrick Day Dog Treats and Smoothie
Cut your banana into sections.
Cut your apple into Chunks.
Cut your fresh parsley leaves off of the stems.
Add Spinach, parsley, apple, banana and water to your food processor or blender and surge. Hint: You'll want to add more water if needed.
Pour your liquid into the molds with a pourable container, either a glass measuring cup or a squeeze bottle.
Freeze overnight and watch your pup enjoy the next day for a nice healthy St. Patrick's Day Treat.
Tips and Tricks for your Dog Treats and smoothie
Place your silicone molds on a cookie sheet in order to move the molds easier.
Use a lightweight pourable cup or squeeze bottle.
These dog treats melt fairly easily. So feed them right away once out of the fridge.

Ingredients
- 1 Banana, sliced
- 1 Golden delicious apple, Cubed
- 1 cup Spinach
- 1 cup Parsley, stems removed
- 1 Cup of Water
Optional Human Smoothie
- ¼ cup plain Green yogurt
- 6 ice cubes
Instructions
- Cut banana into sections.
- Cut apple into chunks.
- Cut parsley leaves off of the stems.
- Add spinach, parsley, apple, banana and water to food processor and blend.
- Pour liquid into a smaller pourable container.
- Pour liquid into molds.
- Freeze over night.
- Watch your dog/dogs enjoy a nice healthy St. Patrick’s Day treat.
Notes
Place your silicone molds on a cookie sheet to move it to the fridge easier.
Make sure you have a location in the freezer cleaned out and that the cookie sheet will fit for sure.
Use a relatively light weight easy to handle pourable cup or squeeze bottle for pouring the liquid into the molds, because you are aiming for such a small and thin area.
HInt: These treats melt pretty quickly.
